APPLYING PRIMAL® CONTACT LENSES STEP BY STEP

Wash hands thoroughly with soap. Dry hands with clean towel.

Gently but thoroughly, rub and rinse lens.

Place the lens on the tip of your index finger. Lens should be at an angle, sitting upright on your finger, open side facing you.

With your other hand, gently hold your eyelids from blinking, pull down your lower eyelid.

Looking up at the ceiling, gently place the lens on the bottom white part of your eye, cupping your eyeball between the lower eyelid.

When applying each lens, slowly release your eyelids and look into the lens to align your pupil with the lens. Blink a few times to center the lens.

REMOVING PRIMAL® CONTACT LENSES STEP BY STEP

Wash hands thoroughly with soap. Dry hands with clean towel.

Looking forward in the mirror, pull down your lower eyelid with one hand.

While holding down your lower eyelid, use your index finger on your other hand to gently slide the lens to the lower white part of your eye.

Look up at the ceiling. Gently pinch the lens with your thumb and index finger and gently remove from your eye. Repeat with other eye.

Once removed, store each lens separately in their container with the appropriate cleaning solution; never store more than 1 lens together in the same container cup.

LENS CARE GUIDELINE DO'S AND DON'TS

Use for a maximum of 8 hours per day.

Use for a maximum of 3 months.

Clean your PRIMAL Contact Lenses and case every two days even when not in use and additionally before each use.

Use ONLY appropriate contact lens disinfecting solution and case.

NEVER share your contact lenses.

NEVER sleep while wearing PRIMAL Contact Lenses.

PRIMAL Contact Lenses are intended for customers 16 years of age or older. Parental Advisory is recommended.

NEVER wear damaged or unclean contact lenses.

If you require the use of eye medication NEVER wear PRIMAL Contact Lenses.

NEVER drive while wearing certain designs that hide, shrink or alter the shape of the pupil.

DO NOT wear PRIMAL Contact Lenses if you’ve had laser eye treatment unless you’ve had a lens fitting by a licensed Optometrist.

NEVER use anything other than fresh sterile disinfectant contact solution. Never use saliva or water.

DO NOT throw your lenses in the toilet or sink for environmental purposes.

Should side effects occur due to the use of PRIMAL Contact Lenses, remove the contact lens immediately, and consult your Eye Care Professional before resuming in the use of contact lenses.

CONTRAINDICATIONS (REASONS NOT TO USE)
DO NOT USE THE PRIMAL LENS WHEN ANY OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS EXIST:

• Inflammation or infaction in or around the eye or eyelids.

• Any previously diagnosed condition that makes contact lens wear uncomfortable.

• Any systemic disease that may affect the eye or be exaggerated by wearing contact lenses.

• Allergic reactions of ocular surfaces of the eye (adnexa) that may be induced or exaggerated by wearing contact lenses or use of contact lens solutions.

• Allergy to any ingredient, such as mercury or Thimerosal, in a solution which is to be used to care for your contact lenses.

• Severe dry eye.

• Any active corneal infection (bacterial, fungal, protozoal or viral).

• Not to be used if you are unable to follow the lens care regimen or unable to obtain assistance to do so.

ADVERSE EFFECTS
THE FOLLOWING PROBLEMS MAY OCCUR:

• Stinging, burning, itching (irritation) or other eye discomfort.

• Excessive watering, unusual eye secretions or redness of the eye.

• Poor vision, blurred vision, rainbows or halos around objects, sensitivity to light (photophobia).

If any of the above symptoms occur immediately remove the lenses.

If the problem stops examine the lens carefully.

If the lens is damaged do not put the lens back on the eye.

Place the lens in the storage container and consult your Eye Care Professional.

If the lens has a foreign material on it or the problem stops and the lens appears undamaged, thoroughly clean the lens, rinse and reinsert. After reinsertion, if the problems continue immedia tely remove the lenses and consult your Eye Care Professional.

The information that contact lenses should be removed immediately after contact whith noxious vapour, e.g.chemical or hazardous substances, or hazardous environnement with ocular impact.

WARNINGS
DECORATIVE CONTACT LENSE CAN BE RISKY, JUST LIKE THE CONTACT LENSES THAT CORRECT YOUR VISION

• PROBLEMS WITH CONTACT LENSES OR LENS CARE PRODUCTS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY TO THE EYE. Proper use and care of your contact lenses and lens care products, including lens cases, are essential for the safe use of these products.

• Eye problems, including a sore or lesion on the cornea (corneal ulcers) can develop rapidly and lead to loss of vision.

• The risk of an infected sore or lesion on the cornea (ulce rative keratitis) is greater for individuals who wear contact lenses past the recommended time in the instructions or from your Eye Care Professional. (DO NOT WEAR LENSES FOR LONGER THAN 8 HOURS A DAY)

• When Individuals wear their lenses overnight (outside the approved use), the risk of an infected sore or lesion on the cornea (ulcerative keratitis) is greater than among those who do not wear them while sleeping.

• If you experience eye discomfort, excessive tearing, vision changes, redness of the eye or other problems, you should immediately remove your lenses and promptly contact your Eye Care Professional.

• It is recommended that you see your Eye Care Professional routinely as directed.

• Safety and effectiveness of PRIMAL soft contact depends upon proper care & use.

• Safety and effectiveness of PRIMAL decorative contact lenses depends upon proper care & use.

STORAGE AND VALIDITY

• Storage: Seal and store the lenses in the proper lens container with saline soaking solution and keep at room temperature (15~20º).

• Validity: 5 years from the date of manufacturing.

CARE REGIMEN AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Handling Precautions:

DO NOT use if the sterile blister package is opened or damaged.

• CAREFULLY follow the handling, insertion, removal and wearing instructions provided with your contact lenses and those prescribed by the Eye Care Professional.

ALWAYS wash and rinse hands thoroughly before handling lenses. Do not get soaps, lotions, cosmetics, sprays or deodo rants in contact with your eyes or lenses.

ALWAYS apply makeup after contacts have been put in your eyes.

ALWAYS handle lenses gently and avoid dropping them.

DO NOT touch the lens with finger nails.

NEVER use tweezers or other tools to remove your lenses from the lens container unless specially indicated for that use. Pour the lens and solution directly in to the palm of your hand.

Lens Wearing Precautions:

IMMEDIATELY remove your lenses if they become red or irritated.

DO NOT DRIVE while wearing Primal Brand costume lenses. They may obscure vision.

NEVER wear contact lenses beyond the amount of time recommended by the Eye Care Professional. Contact lenses should not be worn for longer than 8 hours a day as this will increase the risk of infection or permanent damage.

ALWAYS apply makeup after contacts have been put in your eyes.

ALWAYS handle lenses gently and avoid dropping them.

DO NOT touch the lens with finger nails.

NEVER use tweezers or other tools to remove your lenses from the lens container unless specially indicated for that use. Pour the lens and solution directly in to the palm of your hand.

DO NOT sleep while wearing lenses. It is recommended to remove lenses during a period of rest overnight or longer.

• Ask the Eye Care Professional about wearing contact lenses during sports activities.

AVOID going in the water while wearing lenses. This includes lakes, the ocean, swimming pools, hot tubs and even the shower. The water may contain unseen threats to your eyes.

AVOID environments that are extremely dry, dusty, handling of harmful chemical substances, exposure to moisture, or extreme changes in temperatures. This may cause irritation or infections of the eye. Consult the Eye Care Professional if you are subject to these environments.

AVOID using contact lenses if you suffer any eye diseases or are allergic to materials contained in the lens.

ALWAYS inform your employer of being a contact lens wearer. Certain jobs require the use of eye protection or may require the individual not wear contact lenses.

• Refrain from using your contact lenses for a minimum of 8 hours before reinsertion.

• Never share your contact lenses with anyone else. Many aliments and pathogens are transmitted through fluids.

Solution Precautions:

ALWAYS use an appropriate, unexpired sterile cleaning/rinsing solution to clean PRIMAL Contact Lenses. Follow the corresponding manufacturer’s instructions manual.

ALWAYS use an appropriate disinfecting solution to store your PRIMAL Contact Lenses. Different lens care products cannot always be used together. Follow the detailed instructions in the manufacturer’s instruction manual.

ALWAYS make sure you completely cover your lenses with the recommended storage solution when not wear the lenses (stored). If your lenses start to dry out it will make them more difficult to become wet again.

• If the lens sticks (stops moving or cannot be removed) apply 2 to 3 drops of the recommended lubricating or wetting solution directly to the eye and wait until the lens begins to move freely before it is removed.

USE ONLY a chemical (not heat) lens care system. Use of heat (thermal) care systems can damage your contact lens.

DO NOT use saliva or anything other than the recommended solutions for lubricating or wetting lenses.

• Before reinserting your lenses, always rinse and clean with appropriate cleaning solution.

• Change the solution and clean your contact lenses every two days to avoid protein deposit buildup on the surface of the lenses.

Lens Case Precautions:

• Contact lens cases should be emptied, cleaned, and rinsed with recommended solution and allowed to air dry.

• Lens cases should be replaced at regular intervals asrecommended by your Eye Care Professional.
